Chokra -introducing the LoserCat brothers

Ingredients: Chicken liver, onions, olive oil, frozen cut okra, small tortilla.

Name of the dish is Chokra (chicken + okra).
So tastless that it touches your chakra...

Oh, I usually don't cook meat, and I had never handled chicken liver. Therefore, I tested it on our pets. They didn't eat the cooked chicken liver (what kind of a cat doesn't?). So, I was pretty nervous given the recent E. Coli outbreaks all over the U.S. I'm alive so far.

The pets are two cats (brothers). They will be featured in LoserChef from time to time (I plan to cook them eventually). They were never named. But from now on they will be called LoserCat1 (left) and LoserCat2 (right).

Comments:
I certainly would discourage the consumption of variety meat, which includes organ meat like chicken livers. They're full of cholesterol and can cause health problems like gout -- not to mention the bitter taste and unusual, crumbly/creamy texture.

Though, if you absolutely insist upon eating it, I would suggest adding an element of natural sweetness, such as a handful of raisins or one chopped apple, or some sliced mango.

Please cook organ meat thoroughly. Normally, meat tends to carry harmful bacteria on the surface, which dies when heated, but organ meat has bacteria throughout it that is harmful, so it has to be cooked all the way through.

Strange, though, what shape a chicken liver takes when sliced...

i think i got to this blog from a google search on how to store raw eggplant if you use some but not all of it.

we don't know each other, so this comment is probably inappropriate. that said...you're not really going to cook those cats, are you? i must object. they're so cute.

at the very least, don't lash out at this anonymous comment by cooking the cats just to prove that you would go that far.

i just really like cats. thinking about someone cooking them makes me sad.
