Broken Tortilla

I can't keep my tortillas from breaking and why should I? I've even seen tortillas break at Chipotle -the McDonald's owned burrito chain. What they don't notice in places like that is that when such "accidents" happen that break the script (the consensual routine of preparing food, i.e. the recipe) it opens the doors to new horizons for us human souls. So, when your tortillas break, notice how it adds to your style. Maybe it inspires you to find new ways of using tortilla.

I'm glad that the broken tortillas doesn't dishearten you.

What kind of tortilla are you using? Corn or wheat? I'm assuming that they are (Goya?) corn tortillas. I would suggest heating a tortilla slightly in a pan (ungreased) or for 15 seconds in the microwave to not only prevent breakage (though as discussed, nothing wrong with breakage), but more importantly, to soften the texture and make the tortilla more palatable.

Also, some fresh chopped cilantro placed atop these two dishes would be awesome!
